WHAT IS ROCKLAND FILMMAKERS?
ROCKLAND FILMMAKERS brings filmmakers from Rockland County together for screening, sharing, discussion, and collaboration.
Our goal is to:
- Provide a forum for filmmakers of all levels and all genres
- Promote a long-term dialogue about filmmaking
- Encourage filmmakers in their efforts
- Explore avenues for production, post-production, and distribution
- Advance cross-arts and cross-discipline connections throughout the county
- Engage audiences, community members, and community leader
What is different about Rockland Filmmakers? The focus is on the filmmakers. Not just the film that was finished, but also on the one that isn’t finished yet, and needs to be. Or on the next film, and the next idea, and how to make it into a reality.
We’re still filling out our upcoming programs. Film submissions for remaining spots are being accepted on an ongoing basis.
