Our county is home to many film professionals, and to others who make films for the sake of supporting or documenting their other artistic work—or simply for sheer enjoyment. This festival brings you shorts ranging from experimental to documentary and dance, created by a diverse group of local artists.
Submission requirements (in brief):
Deadline: April 1, 2009
Format: DVD
Length: 15 minutes or less
• Completed entry form. (You can download the form here).
• Your film in DVD format, clearly marked with title and contact information. The film should be a maximum of 15 minutes long.
There is no entry fee.
A panel of local filmmakers and artists will review all submissions and write an evaluation of each one. This feedback, along with a letter informing you of their decision on screening your film, will be sent by May 1, 2009.

Immediately before the Short Film Festival, we will be holding our annual Rockland Student Film Festival (click here [link to Doc B] for more information). We encourage you to come at 6:00 and see the work of our very own up-and- coming filmmakers.
